"When someone comes to the WingMakers materials and the Collected Works in particular, they can open the book and let their inmost self guide the process. They do not need to read linearly. Everyone can go through the book in their own manner. I would recommend that they be patient and look to embed whatever it is that they resonate with, in their behaviors. Don’t simply make mental deposits. Find a way to incorporate what resonates philosophically into your behaviors, and then observe how it redirects and reorients you. This work is an architectural drawing of love, but it is also a catalyst to awaken.

The world around us is adept at inducing slumber. People, all people, need to remain awake to their inner selves and aspirations. They must cultivate and nurture that aspect within themselves that I refer to as the Sovereign Integral. This is what the Collected Works can provide. John Berges did a wonderful job of creating the bridgework that helps people see these esoteric materials as accessible and useful in their daily lives."

Introduction to Living from the Heart

"We are increasingly sensitive to environmental pollution on the physical plane, but insensitive to pollution we create on the emotional plane."

"The current time period is in tremendous flux that is re-gridding earth’s institutions worldwide. This is going to affect each of us. Without going into too much detail, the effects can be either positive or negative. They will be negative if we are operating from the lower vibration of the heart-mind system and they will tend to be positive when the system is functioning under the influence of the Sovereign Integral. I write “tend” here to indicate that our shift to the Sovereign Integral’s perspective will not be an instant transformation. Simply put, we will move in and out of phase with the Sovereign Integral."

"Alternatively, emotional reactions that result in conflicts with others or are due to unfortunate events in our lives, create spontaneous emotions that are generally considered negative. These two reactions are normal and part of being human, but it’s what happens immediately after these reactions that is the critical factor.

Over and over, James stresses the importance of staying in the moment. This is the critical factor. The point is, that being fully present in the moment allows us to experience our emotions with self-awareness. Based on our self-observation, we are then in a position to determine what our next actions will be. This description may appear mechanical, but if you give it a try, you will begin to get a feel for it. Perhaps, many of you already have."

"This psychological state of fluctuation between the Sovereign Integral’s influence and the ego’s influence should not be looked on as a failure because the spiritual reorientation process is a gradual shift. This is exemplified by the myriad of spiritual teachers (past and present) who, despite their achievements, exhibit flaws and weaknesses of character. They remain susceptible to the same ego temptations that we all experience. They have overcome many temptations, but nonetheless some stubborn pockets of egoic energy remain "
